Book of the month

Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maja Kobabe is one of the most challenged and banned books in the country. It is currently the focus of discussion in nearby Caro, Michigan, where the local public library has been asked to remove it from the shelves. Check out the Leopard Print Books Facebook post on February 24 to learn more.

We'll be reading the graphic novel in our April BANNED book club. We'd love it if you'd join us.

Stand Against Exploitation

THESE SHINING LIVES, a play to be held at The Midland Center for the Arts, chronicles the compelling true story of the young women who painted the faces of luminous watches with radioactive paint in the ‘20’s and ‘30’s. The play is based off the book The Radium Girls by Kate Moore.

Shows run April 14 - 23.

Leopard Print Books is thrilled to be selling this and related books before, during intermission, and after the show. Books are also available in the bookstore and online.
